Exhibitor Guide Warning
It is important to be aware of third parties contacting exhibitors for entries into show guides. Expo Guide have been sending letters to IMEX America exhibitors urging them to sign and return a form for entry into an online directory. Expo Guide are NOT affiliated with IMEX America and we do not endorse their online directory. If you sign the form you are contracted into a three year agreement costing several thousand Euros. Expo Guide appears to be a similar organization to Fair Guide/Construct Data Verlag who have been operating a similar scheme. In a past out of court settlement, Fair Guide/Construct Data Verlag agreed to cancel their demands against the company who disputed the contract. Please be vigilant against organizations such as these, who do not represent IMEX America. Neither Expo Guide or Fair Guide/Construct Data Verlag have any connection to any exhibition organizer. However if you have already done so, the recommendation is to immediately withdraw from the contract due to error. |
