Who are Hosted Buyers?

    IMEX America hosted buyers are first and foremost serious about their business. They come to the show to get it done in the most efficient way possible and save themselves hours of time wasted on internet searches, emails and telephone calls. Our goal is that buyers who are hosted should have genuine business to place with a good variety of our exhibitors.

     

    Our buyers are usually making the buying decisions, influencing the buying decisions, or organizing a range of meetings, events, conferences, conventions, exhibitions and incentive travel programs (see the full list below). Buyers might come from professional associations or institutes, event agencies, or corporations.

    Agencies include:

    Incentive travel and conference agencies, full service incentive houses, conference organizers, sales and promotion agencies, marketing, PR and advertising agencies.

    Associations include:

    International or U.S. institutes, federations or associations who organize congresses, conventions and meetings in the U.S. and internationally. This also includes association management companies and professional conference organizers (PCOs).

    Corporates include:

    Executives within companies involved with meetings, conferences and incentive travel programs. You’ll have responsibility for - or direct influence over - decisions regarding destinations or venues.
