As a key part of the IMEX America Hosted Buyer Program, an intermediary identifies and qualifies buyers and helps coordinate their IMEX America experience. Here’s a step-by-step guide to your responsibilities as an intermediary:

    • Work closely with a dedicated IMEX America Hosted Buyer Program Account Manager
    • Target and reach out to your clients who are responsible for organizing international and domestic events and secure their commitment to attend IMEX America
    • Send your unique application link to invite potential hosted buyers once application is open
    • Process and manage all administration via the IMEX America website
    • Work with your IMEX America Account Manager to ensure all relevant deadlines and target figures are met
    • Ensure that all applications from hosted buyers are completed in full before being submitted to IMEX America for final approval
    • Keep your clients up-to-date about all the program arrangements - including the travel and accommodations itinerary
    • Ensure buyers are aware of their appointment obligations
    • Nominate a group leader to accompany the group to Las Vegas in October
    • Notify IMEX America immediately in the case of any cancellation(s)
    • Manage your group of buyers on site to ensure they fulfil their appointment obligations and enjoy their experience

As an intermediary, you also commit to ensure that no social events or programm are organized (by you or any others) for your group off the show floor during show hours.
